North Pole, AK – A community meeting will be held to discuss the Interior Gas Utility project and upcoming construction activities planned for the Spring 2015 at the North Pole Library on April 14, 2015 from 4:00-7:00 pm.
IGU Project Manager, David Prusak will give a 15 minute presentation at 4:30, 5:30 and 6:15. Project team leads from PDC Engineers will be available to answer questions about the natural gas distribution system design, and Right of Way Agents will be on hand to discuss any property issues.
The meeting will focus on construction plans to begin in mid to late May in the Phase 1 area. All residents, business owners, and interested parties are welcome to attend.
The IGU is a municipal utility committed to delivering affordable natural gas to as many people possible, as soon as possible. This project is a partner in the Interior Energy Project, funded through low-interest loans administered by the Alaska Industrial Export and Development Authority (AIDEA).
