Facilitated by: Alice Rogoff, Publisher ADN General information Arctic researchers, policymakers and community and cultural leaders will discuss key themes of Arctic interest during armchair conversations. Invited to attend are community members, interested Alaskans and visiting delegations. These informal sessions hosted during the Week of the Arctic’s Arctic Interchange offer meaningful insight into priority issues of the Arctic, highlight university expertise, and engage community members. About this talk This session will explore how Alaska and international media approach the Arctic, and the degree to which story development and interest corresponds to Alaska’s priorities. Visiting media who are in Fairbanks for the Arctic Council Ministerial meeting will have an opportunity to ask questions, offer ideas, and meet with community members to discuss the topics that are of most interest to those in the room. Participants will evaluate best practices, identify cooperative pan-Arctic approaches, and advance recommendations with impact in Alaska and across the north.
