Learn more about the work of Keren Lowell, Anchorage-based visual artist and initiator of the popular mending session at the Anchorage Museum’s SEED Lab. Keren is in Fairbanks for a few days as the juror of Fairbanks Arts Association’s Spring Juried Show, RESILIENCE, and will share about her work and career as an artist during this talk. In addition to her interest in connecting people through the slow activities of sewing and mending, Keren continues to exhibit her work throughout the state, and is regularly included in juried, curated and group exhibits.
