Energy Workshops
UAF Cooperative Extension Service will host two workshops Sept. 28 in Fairbanks on practical ways to use renewable energy in camp and at home. A passive solar workshop will run from 8 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and a rocket stove workshop from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the district Extension office at 724 27th Ave. The workshops cost $30 each or $50 for both.
