Discover Alaska: Gates of the Arctic with Don and Tracie Pendergrast

Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserve is the nation's second largest National Park, and when combined with the adjoining Noatak National Preserve hosts thirteen million acres of Designated Wilderness. Both Tracie and Don are formers park rangers with Gates and they will share a video and make a presentation on this remarkable place.

Dr. Don and Dr Tracie were both overeducated park rangers for Gates of the Arctic.   They were intimately involved in the Artist in Residence program, education, interpretation, backcountry management and planning for the park.
