Choose Respect: Alaskan Coming Together to End Domestic Violence. Hosted by Rotary Club of Fairbanks and the Interior Alaska Center for Non-Violent Living. Engaging New Voices: Stronger Together At last year’s luncheon we heard Dr. André Rosay present his research on domestic violence and sexual assault rates in Alaska. Dr. Rosay’s findings showed that the rates of power based violence are on a downward trend in Alaska. While we are encouraged by these findings, we know that there is still work to do; and it will take all of us. Join us to hear from community leaders and law enforcement about how they are committed to ending violence in our community. There will be a presentation by community members and Green Dot instructors Helen Bradley and Lorien Nettleton, about exciting and empowering ways to engage in violence prevention in Fairbanks and in the Interior. We are stronger together.
