DESCRIPTION:Fairbanks Arts invites Interior Alaskan artists to take part in our Second Annual Spring Juried Exhibition. This year's theme is Whimsy\, selected through a public vote. Whimsy is open to the following categories: Drawing\, Painting\, Sculpture\, Ceramics\, Glass\, Printmaking\, Video\, Jewelry\, Photography\, Fiber\, and Mixed-media. \n\nJuror Rachelle Dowdy will give a talk on Monday\, April 2 at 7:00pm in the Blue Room at the Alaska Centennial Center for the Arts at Pioneer Park and the opening reception for Whimsy will be Friday\, April 6\, 5-7pm in the Bear Gallery. Both events are free and open to the public. \n\nWhimsy will be on view in the Bear Gallery from April 6-28\, 2018.
