DESCRIPTION:UAF-CTC will be hosting local artist Carol Wilbur and her works\, Portal Series\, during February First Friday\, downtown Fairbanks.\n\n\n	Portal Series is a group of work featuring vibrant color\, interesting compositions and form. "Through my paintings I attempt to express the complex\, intuitive internal dialog that I experience as a visual artist." says Wilbur.\n\n	Carol Wilbur is a lifelong resident of Fairbanks. She holds a teaching degree as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from UAF in Painting and Metalsmithing\; her jewelry and paintings have appeared in many galleries across the state.
