DESCRIPTION:Salsa/Bachata Dance Workshop ~~ The Ballroom Dance Club of Fairbanks is excited to be offering a dance workshop taught by professional visiting dance instructor Mike Rodriguez from Houston\, Texas. The workshop will be held on October 20\, 21\, 21\, 2017 (Fri\, Sat & Sun) at the Pioneer Park Dance Center & UAF Hess Rec Center. Dancers can register for the weekend online at www.ballroomfairbanks.org. The workshop kicks off Friday night\, Oct 20\, at Pioneer Park Dance Center where you can "Get your Latin On" class that is open to all levels of dancers. The class will start with basics to bring beginning dancers into the class and advance to fun moves that more experienced dancers will also appreciate. Following the class\, dancers can stay for a social dance with music provided Mike. Saturday and Sunday's classes will continue with classes from Fundamentals of Dance on into Salsa and Bachata. Dancers can register for individual classes at $20 a class\, or take advantage of package pricing of $145 for all 9 classes\, the Friday & Saturday night social dances. Private lesson opportunities are also available.
