DESCRIPTION:Run of the Valkyries\, 11th annual 8K run supporting Opera Fairbanks\, 10 a.m.\, starts and finishes at Pioneer Park Square Dance Hall in Pioneer Park\, 2300 Airport Way. Bib pickup is 4-7 p.m. July 6 at Woolly Rhino\, 250 Third St.\, suite 6. Be part of a Team! Walking or running as part of a team is a great way to build camaraderie in the workplace or spend quality time with family and friends. It's also a great way to join together to raise money to support Opera Fairbanks! Prizes will be awarded to the top women\, men\, and children's finishers\, as well as a special prize to the participant with the best VALKRYIES themed costume. Bib Pickup Friday\, July 6 from 4-7 pm at Woolly Rhino located at 250 Third Street\, Suite 6. Every participant (or parent/guardian if runner is a minor) must sign a risk waiver.
