DESCRIPTION:On behalf of 1/25th SBCT and FWA EO offices\, we would like to invite all Soldiers\, civilians\, and family members to the National American Native Heritage Month Celebration.\n\n\n\nAs we come together to remember the rich history and celebrate the many contributions of the American Indians and Alaska Natives\, we ask leaders at all levels to encourage maximum participation for this event.\n\n\n\nNational Native American Heritage Month honors the many contributions and accomplishments of American Indians and Alaska Natives. During November\, we remember the legacy of the first Americans and celebrate their vibrant role in our country's freedom and security. They proudly serve in all departments of the United States Government today.\n\n\n\nThis year's guest speaker is Ms. Shirley Holmberg is the Prevention Coordinator and Acting Prevention Program Manager for the Tanana Chief Conference of Fairbanks\, Ak. Mrs. Holmberg\, a member of the Toneedze Gheltselne clan was corn in Tanana\, Ak She received her Master's Degree in Rural Development from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Wainwright **Please advise that civilian patrons entering Fort Wainwright that do not have access are required to obtain a post pass from the information center (located just before the gate)prior to entering the post. Drivers of vehicles must present their drivers licenses\, proof of vehicle insurance\, and vehicle registration.**
