DESCRIPTION:Fairbanks Resource Agency?s annual fundraiser will feature Brett Leake\, a nationally known comedian. His observational humor and word play make him one of the funniest comedians we?ve had for our shows. Appearing in over 200 comedy shows a year\, it?s obvious that Brett doesn?t let his muscular dystrophy slow him down.  Brett is known for his tasteful humor\, his keen powers of observation\, and his interest in everyday topics. Brett wonders about the little things in life: junk mail on recycled paper\; the expiration date on bottled water. His humor is clean\, so you can bring the whole family.\nBrett?s TV appearances include The Tonight Show (8 times to date)\, Look Who?s Laughing\, Donahue\, Entertainment Tonight\, Comedy Central\, and Evening at the IMPROV\, and he has won acclaim on college campuses and at corporate events as well as comedy clubs.  In 2008\, Brett received Virginia?s 2008 Governor?s Caregiver Recognition Award for his role in caring for his father\, who also has muscular dystrophy.  Brett's 2001 performance in Fairbanks won rave reviews and FRA is pleased to bring back this talented comic.
