DESCRIPTION:Fairbanks Economic Development Corporation is hosting a series of Housing Summits to address the future housing needs due to the projected and expected increase of personnel at Eielson Air Force Base from the addition of two squadrons of F-35s. These Summits are intended to provide interested parties with much of the initial information on expected housing requirements\, preferred housing locations\, challenges\, and any resources to overcome those obstacles. Our goal is to provide you with the information you'll need to make educated decisions regarding your involvement in this exciting economic opportunity. The next Housing Summit is scheduled for Tuesday\, June 6 from 2 - 5 pm at the Pipeline Training Center in Fairbanks. It will feature breakout sessions such as: Municipal Government the City of North Pole\, the City of Fairbanks\, and the FNSB. Finance/Funding local banks\, Alaska Housing Finance Corporation\, investors\, etc. Sellers/Buyers land owners and developers Services builders/construction\, land clearing\, appraisals\, etc. And more!
