DESCRIPTION:Printmaker Ina Timling has titled her show "Earth and Sky"\, and will feature linoleum and woodcut designs that are inspired by the grand landscapes of Alaska. Ina Timling is a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Alaska Fairbanks\, where she studies soil microbes in arctic soils. Additionally\, Randy Zarnke and Kirke Jorgensen will be signing copies of An Alaskan Adventure: A Story of Finding Gold in the Far North From 1893-1903\, an original memoir by Frederick James Currier. The book relates Currier's travels through the gold fields of Alaska and Yukon. A cast of Fairbanks children will perform a short play based on scenes from the book.
