It is the fastest growing area in the FNSB. Added to this growth\, F-35 families\, or 3\,300 new residents\, are coming to Eielson Air Force Base over the next few years. Eighty five percent of those families will live in the Salcha-Badger Road area. \n\nThe Area Plan strategically prepares community leaders\, business owners and residents for change and will protect what residents value most about the Salcha-Badger Road area. It is a community resource and guide that will improve quality of life for existing and new residents by addressing immediate and longer-term community needs including housing\, transportation\, utilities\, recreation and commerce.
