Her work includes two previous chapbooks\, Bedful of Nebraskas and Should Our Undoing Come Down Upon Us White\, winner of the 2013 Frost Place Chapbook Competition. \n\nLela Markham is the pen name of local Alaskan novelist\, Lauri Sliney\, who was raised in a home built of books. A multi-genre writer\, Lauri has published tales of fantasy\, alternate history\, apocalyptic\, and political satire. She has work in progress for literary fiction\, new adult\, YA\, mystery\, and her nemesis\, romance. \n\nThis event is free and open to the public.
