DESCRIPTION:Design Alaska Wild Arts Walk at Creamers Field Sunday June 16 Spend the afternoon enjoying art and nature at the beloved Creamers Field on Sunday\, June 16\, 2019 12:00-4:00 for the 14th annual Design Alaska "Wild Arts Walk". This event kicks-off Summer Solstice week with the opportunity to be immersed in art and nature while walking the easily accessible trails through Creamers Fields where wildlife\, birds and wildflowers abound. 30 some local artists will be showcasing and selling their art of all kinds. The centerpiece of the Wild Arts Walk is the exciting "Quick Art" that takes place from 1:30-2:30 where the artists create works of art which are auctioned immediately afterwards. Guests receive Design Alaska's gift of a collector's edition Creamers Field art mug designed by Design Alaska (one per family for the first 300 families). Cookies and beverages are offered with your $5-dollar donation. All proceeds go to support Friends of Creamers Field year-round Educational Programs and our wonderful local artists.
