DESCRIPTION:The Ballroom Dance Club of Fairbanks is excited to be offering a dance workshop taught by professional visiting dance instructors Damon D'Amico and Lisa D'Amico Peltier from Houston\, Texas. The workshop will be held on May 5-7\, 2017 at the Pioneer Park Dance Center. Dancers can register for the weekend online at www.ballroomfairbanks.org. The workshop kicks off Friday night\, May 5\, with a class on West Coast Swing and Country 2 Step that is open to all levels of dancers. The class will start with basics to bring beginning dancers into the class and advance to fun moves that more experienced dancers will also appreciate. Following the class\, dancers can stay for a social dance with music provided by Damon and Lisa. Saturday and Sunday's classes will continue to advance dancers' skills in West Coast Swing and Country 2 Step\, building on what is taught throughout the weekend. Dancers can register for individual classes at $18 a class\, or take advantage of package pricing\, including a reduced early bird price of $135 for all 9 classes and the Friday night social dance.
