FIREWORKS AT MINDNIGHT   Park open regular hours.\n\nCome see our exciting new event and count down the New Year with Santa. Fireworks at Midnight sponsored by Budget Fireworks. Free entrance after 10 pm but the doors will close at 11:45 pm so all can enjoy fireworks.  The park will be open regular hours that day. This Ice Park features a Christmas-themed ice art competition during the month of December with sculptures by local and international carvers. There is a youth ice carving competition in addition to single block and multi-block competitions. Special events include a BP Picnic Under the Stars and Military Appreciation Day sponsored by Petro Star Refinery. See Santa on Christmas day\, and on New Year's enjoy hot cocoa and fireworks at our special family friendly event.  Our new skating rink is surrounded by castle walls built with the help of the 70th Brigade Engineer Battalion from Fort Wainwright.\n\nFor big and little kids\, there is the Elf's Icy playground with 100 foot ice slides\, mazes\, and twirlers. Indoors there are craft activities and special performers.
