DESCRIPTION:The UAF Department of Theatre & Film is thrilled to announce auditions for its spring production\, STRIKE! A Musical and Dramatic Revue. Devised and directed by Flyn Ludington\, this compelling theatrical experience will spotlight the struggles and triumphs of the working class through a curated selection of songs\, scenes\, and monologues spanning the 20th century.\n\nNo prior experience is necessary\, and the auditions are open to all students\, faculty\, staff\, and community members. Performances will run March 21-30\, 2025.\n\n\n \n Actors should arrive a few minutes early to fill out an audition form\, or they can download the form and fill it out in advance.\n \n \n Actors should prepare a short Monologue and/or 16 bars of a song (please bring sheet music for piano)\n \n \n Actors will be asked to read printed "sides" from the script.
