DESCRIPTION:Fairbanks is seeking to be the host for the 2014 Arctic Winter Games and the AWG International Committee site selection committee is visiting Fairbanks January 11-14\, 2011.  To win their hearts and show that Fairbanks welcomes the chance to host the games in 2014\, we are staging a community welcome at the Big Dipper on  Wednesday\, January 12\, 2011.  Doors open at 4:30 pm . We anticipate the delegation arriving at 6pm to a cheering crowd.  There will be giveaways (including two round trip tickets on ERA Aviation)\, music\, Youth Hockey Exhibition Games\, food and great fun.
