DESCRIPTION:Teams of people (over 55 teams this year!) from all walks of life\, camp out at WVHS Track and take turns walking or running around the track during the 24-hour event while having fun raising much needed funds to fight cancer and raise awareness of cancer prevention and treatment.\nOne in three people will be diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime.  The funds raised at Relay save lives by funding cutting-edge research\, early detection and prevention education\, advocacy efforts\, and life-affirming patient services.  It is because of your involvement that we are able to save lives\, help those battling cancer\, and empower all to fight back against the disease.  \nPhilosophy:  The American Cancer Society Relay For Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten\, that those who face cancer will be supported\, and that one day cancer will be eliminated.\nCARNIVAL  FOR  A  CURE is the theme this year.  Everyone is Invited to Enjoy the Festivities.  \nSILENT AUCTION ? Two Large Tents full of Wonderful  Items to Bid on\nLOCKS OF LOVE ? 9am-noon Saturday (Cuts only ?  for $10 donation)\nQUARTERS AROUND THE TRACK ? QUARTER OF A MILE ? TO HELP REACH GOAL OF QUARTER OF A MILLION ? ON THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF RELAY FOR LIFE!  Everyone bring your QUARTERS!\nBOUNCY HOUSE\nDUNK TANK\nFACE PAINTING\nFOOD:  Hotdogs\, Popcorn\, Cotton Candy\, Falafels\, Candy\, & more (Pancakes & Sausage @ 7am Saturday)\nCAKE WALKS:  every one-half hour . . . that?s 48 cakes!! (each team is asked to bring a cake)\nFUN & GAMES:  Scavenger Hunt\, Plinko\, Darts\, Duck Pond\, Tarot Cards\, Fortune Telling\, Stuff-A-Bear\,  Floss Toss\, and much more\nMASSAGES\nBLOOD PRESSURE TESTS\nPRIZES\nMUSIC/DANCING\nFESTIVE ATMOSPHERE WITH DECORATED TENT SITES\nOTHER FUNDRAISERS:  Handmade Jewelry\, Stained Glass\, Plants\, Food\, Art\, etc???.\nEVERYONE IS INVITED TO TAKE PART IN THIS LIFE-AFFIRMING COMMUNITY EVENT.
