DESCRIPTION:Alaska Business Week (ABW) is now accepting applications for this week-long summer residence program on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus. This program is designed to give Alaska high school students hands-on experience in running a company. Students will work directly with business leaders from top Alaska companies\, compete with other teams to arrive at a winning strategy for their company\, and discover their own leadership skills. Students earn two college credits upon successful completion of the program. The total cost for this program is $475\, which includes tuition for two academic credits\, fees\, room\, meals\, and program materials. Some scholarships are available on the basis of demonstrated financial need.
