The day will begin with a parade on the airstrip recognizing Vietnam veterans for paving the way\, honoring the sacrifices they made for their country and paying them the respect earned. Following the parade will be a special 75th Anniversary celebration of Ladd Army Airfield with carnival games\, live music\, a beer garden\, car show\, various information booths and more. Ending the day will be the 240th Army Birthday Celebration and a live concert by Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. The public is invited to attend. Installation access will require positive photo identification and proof of vehicle insurance. Patrons are wel come to bring their own folding chairs and are encouraged to bring cash for food and beverage purchases. Parking will be provided with buses running continuously from the parking area on the south side of the airfield to the event location at historic Hangar 1. Please no pets.
