The Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce’s advocacy work centers around three key components: EDUCATE, ENGAGE and PROMOTE. We commit to:
• EDUCATE Chamber Members on important policy topics that impact the local and state economy through panel discussions, policy forums, committee meetings, and white papers.
• ENGAGE Chamber Members in the legislative process to ensure that Member voices are heard through letters to the legislature, visits to Juneau, committee work, public testimony among other advocacy opportunities.
• PROMOTE policies that foster economic vitality, jobs growth, and new business opportunities. The Chamber represents and supports businesses of all sizes, across all industries, and we work with legislators, administrative officials, associations, organizations, and key stakeholder groups to collaborate on effective advocacy throughout the year.
