PROGRAM OF WORK
Goals
for the Year
- Advocate for a Strong Arts Community
by developing presentations for service groups and businesses, report
on economic impacts and encourage Business & the Arts Committees
in other communities
- Recognize Chamber members for participating in Arts by developing
the “Friends of the Arts” program
- Provide Educational Opportunities
by sponsoring workshops on ways to interlink Business and the Arts
- Advocate for the effort to recognize value of volunteer hours
Programs &
Projects for the Year
- Artist of the Year: Develop active subcommittee to become more involved
in the Artist-of the-Year process
- Develop the “Friends of the Arts” program: Make regular
announcements at GML’s for “Friends of the Arts”
and create a new category of award for “Friends of the Arts”
at Chamber’s annual awards event
- Provide 2 – 3 GML program recommendations
