    With the recent acquisition of the Pogo Gold Mine in Alaska, the company is seeking to fill 4 Underground Service Crew Operator positions to help grow the mine and return it to a 300koz production center with a 10-year mine life. Candidates living in the Fairbanks North Star Borough, Delta and Tok regions will be given first consideration.

    Work Schedule: 2 weeks on/1 week off working a rotating schedule of days and nights, up to 12 hours a day or more at a remote campsite. Extreme conditions, including but not limited to changing weather conditions, dust, mud, varying levels of noise from low to high decibels, varying degrees of light and dark, in and around artificial light and in a confined work area.

    Employees are required to stay on site at the company provided camp during the work rotation. Camp facilities provide dining service, games room, exercise & weight room, sauna, and accommodation rooms. Dormitory rooms have a land line phone, internet & cable tv programs. Cell service is available when using Wi-Fi. The Company provides a bus service to and from Fairbanks, Delta Junction and Tok, Alaska.

    Driving underground articulated haulage trucks, vehicle pre-shift and post-shift inspections and identifying hazards.

    Haulage trucks and utility vehicles.

    EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED preferred.
    CERTIFICATES & LICENCES: Valid Driver's License required. MSHA certificate preferred
    EXPERIENCE: Experience with underground haul trucks desirable but not required. Should have demonstrated success working as a team member and individually.
    SKILLS: Have good verbal and written communication skills. Desired behavioral skills include productive communication, cooperation, productivity, initiative, creativity, dependability.
    ABILITIES: Must be able to lift and carry 70 pounds regularly, from floor to chest level without injury. Must have ability to understand operating procedures, safety rules, policies, emergency procedures, and MSHA requirements. Mechanical abilities required. Must have the ability to wear required protective footwear, hearing and eye protection, and other personal protective equipment as required by Company and MSHA.
    OTHER: Must pass a post offer physical and drug test, as well as background check and Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, Explosive (ATFE) Employee Possessor certification.
