• Administrative Assistant Administrative Assistant

    The Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to become a member of our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the staff, board of directors, and members of the Fairbanks Chamber. That support includes participation in multiple events, programs, and our robust advocacy efforts. You will also be responsible for processing accounts payable and receivable and ensuring the office environment is organized and efficient.  This role will allow you to demonstrate and develop your skills and abilities and is a great growth opportunity.

    To be successful in this role, a personal commitment to organization is essential. You also must be able to perform and function effectively in a fast-paced and often demanding environment.

    This position requires a minimum of 2 years of prior experience in an office environment.  Experience in Quick Books is preferred.

  • ADVOCACY AND COMMITTEE INTERN ADVOCACY AND COMMITTEE INTERN

    The Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce (GFCC) is currently seeking a motivated individual to become a member of our Chamber team for the fall semester. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain real world work experience, as this role will be heavily focused on engaging with the Chamber’s advocacy committees through your support of the President & CEO and the committee chairs. You will serve as the primary staff representative at each of the committee meetings, allowing you to develop your skills and experience while immersing yourself in the committee process as the Chamber moves through the process of setting the advocacy agenda for 2018.

    To be successful in this role, punctuality and follow-through are essential. You also must be able to support many individuals concurrently in order to ensure the work of the Chamber continues in our face paced environment.

    This position requires the candidate to be a degree-seeking student in the field of business, management, policy, political science, economics, or communications.
