Noon - 1pm

Carlson Center

The Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce’s Education Committee and the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District are celebrating over a dozen years of School/Business Partnerships. More than 100 guests will be honored for their active partnerships at the 5th Annual School Business Partnership Luncheon at Noon on Tuesday, May 25th at the Carlson Center. Special thanks to Alyeska Pipeline Service Co. for being this year’s presenting sponsor!

We are currently looking for corporate sponsors to help fund this year’s luncheon and on behalf of the Fairbanks Chamber, we respectfully ask you to consider supporting this annual event. As a sponsor, you will be recognized at the luncheon, on all marketing materials leading up to the event, and post-event thanks (see attached sponsorship package).

Why are School/Business partnerships important? Studies show that students need more than academic instruction to succeed in school. These partnerships offer educational opportunities allowing students to view the inner working of business while using hands-on learning techniques and securing vital preparation for future jobs. Through successful partnerships, students learn the value of giving back to the community and can learn to function and thrive in a business environment. These partnerships create ongoing and dynamic relationships that develop mutual support and understanding between education, business and the Fairbanks community. The Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce and its Education Committee are confident you will find good value in linking your business or organization directly with this year’s Luncheon.
