First Friday Opening Reception:Interior Visions Selections from Fairbanks Resource Agency’s New Progressive Art Project Curated by Phoebe Rohrbacher and Interior Alaska/Exterior Tokyo
-
Welcome January with a visit to the Bear Gallery for First Friday to see two outstanding exhibitions!
Interior Visions: Selection from Fairbanks Resources Agency’s New Progressive Art Projects is inspired by the nationwide movement to include people with developmental disabilities in contemporary art. Fairbanks Resource Agency (FRA) had provided self-taught artists time, space and resources to create art in this show curated by Phoebe Rohrbacher. Also join us for the striking photography of Ryota Kajita in the solo exhibition, Interior Alaska/Exterior Tokyo. Don’t forget to stop in the Gift Stop to see the birch bark artwork of Gift Shop Artist of the Month David Bowen and this month’s featured Watercolor Corner artist, Ann Tremarello.
