Fairbanks Arts Literary Reading 2018 Series features Martha Amore and Jean Anderson. Martha Amore will read from her new collection, In the Quiet Season and Other Stories, which explores the human landscape of Alaska. Martha Amore achieved her Master of Fine Arts from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2009 and has published stories in a number of journals and magazines, including Room, Canada’s oldest feminist literary journal.
Jean Anderson's recent book is HUMAN BEING SONGS: Northern Stories. Her previous books are another collection of stories, IN EXTREMIS, and an Alaska anthology, INROADS, co-edited with Elyse Guttenberg. Jean has lived in Fairbanks since 1966 and enjoys being part of Alaska's widespread literary community.
